NEST Taekwon-Do was founded in 2012 by Mr Christopher Black V Degree (with 40 years experience) and has since become a leading ITF Taekwon-Do school in the North East of England. ITF Taekwon-Do is a traditional martial art originating from Korea, combining combat techniques, self-defence, sport, fitness, and philosophy. Over the years, we have taught and mentored more than 1,000 students, ranging in age from 4 to 84.

At NEST Taekwon-Do, we are dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and abilities achieve their goals and become the best version of themselves. Our classes blend practical self-defence techniques, dynamic fitness training, and confidence-building exercises, all delivered in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

All of our instructors are fully qualified and registered with both the British Taekwon-Do Council and the United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Association. We are fully insured, DBS checked, and operate robust safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every student.

Our structured curriculum is designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to handle real-world situations, while also improving physical fitness, discipline, focus, and mental resilience.
