The BTC Online Registered Instructor Course covers BTC Policies and Procedures which support the safe facilitation of Taekwondo in the UK:
BTC Safeguarding Awareness Courses:
To comply with vetting and barring service ID checks and assist with the verification of identity, please have to hand originals of your ID documents and provide electronic copies to your course tutor:
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- National Insurance Number (NI card, HMRC NI letter or redacted payslip/P60)
- 2nd Proof of address (eg. Utility Bill, not a mobile phone bill)
- If relevant, other documents:
- Birth Certificate (if no passport or driving licence)
- Deed Poll (for change of name other than by marriage)
- Visa, work permits or other approved documents or share codes
A First Aid qualification is an element of BTC Registered Instructor accreditation. If an instructor does not have a current first aid certificate, they should arrange to undertake a course at the earliest opportunity and provide a copy of their certificate to the BTC Course Tutor to update their BTC profile.
BTC Registered Instructor profiles should also display a recent head & shoulders TKD photograph. This can be uploaded to your BTC profile when created or your course tutor provided with a copy.
When your place has been confirmed by BTC, you will receive an email from an authorised BTC Tutor with the Zoom log-in details. You are requested to confirm receipt of the joining details to assist administration on the day. Please observe the online protocols of being mute during the course presentation and having video on. Course certificates cannot be issued to attendees who are not visible throughout. Thank you for your kind co-operation in this regard.
