An interactive workshop for designated club Welfare Officers.  Essential for clubs seeking the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts 'safe club' accreditation.

As a prerequisite to attendance to the BTC Welfare Officer course, participants must be in possession of a BTC Basic Safeguarding Awareness certificate to ensure they are already familiar with the BTC Safeguarding Policies and Implementation Procedures. 

Anyone who does not already hold a BTC Basic Safeguarding Awareness certificate must join this section of a BTC Registered Instructor course.

BTC Basic Safeguarding Awareness Course (1.5hrs) - Protecting Children and Adults in Sport (separate certificate, a mandatory requirement for all Instructors, and for any club Welfare Officers who require this as a prelude to the BTC Welfare Officer course.

BTC Welfare Officer Course (3hrs) - mandatory for club Welfare Officers.
